Please help the Perkins family.


For most people, 2020 has been a horrible year, but for the Perkins family, it has been a year of loss, grief and heartbreak.

Early this year (Late July) they received the devastating phone call that their father, Gary Perkins, had decided to take his own life in his home town in Northern Ireland, where he was living with his beautiful wife, Dawn. The heartbreaking news was made even harder by covid restrictions, and his three wonderful children, Geordie, Jillian and Ron, his daughter in law Sophie, the mother of his children Deidre, and his amazing 3 grandchildren, Asher, Adelyn and Hailie were unable to attend his funeral. 

Over the next couple of months, with the help of there amazing mother, Deid, they were ableto stick together as a family and support eachother through grief, and heartache.

On Sunday, 6th of December, just 14 days before Deidres 60th birthday. Deidre fell ill and was rushed to hospital, and it was later determined that she had a brain aneurysm, and was put into an induced coma. After several operations, to try and stop the bleeding and swelling of her brain, doctors informed her children, that there is a high chance that she will not survive,and if she does, due to the severity of the injuries, could be in a vegetative state.

Anyone who knows Deid, knows that not only is she a caring, supportive and wonderful mother. Her grandchildren, and her unborn grandchild, are her pride and joy. 

I’ve started this gofundme to support Deidre’s family financially and it will go directly/split three ways for Geordie, Jillian and Ron.
