Hi everyone. We are facing a personal emergency and need to make sure we can survive and deal with both the new bills and old ones - emergency dental surgery, emergency car repair, medical leave lost wages, and hospital bills. Ian is on medical leave for an additional two weeks now and is out of PTO, and hasn’t been working at his job long enough for FMLA protection. I’ve been the hospital now too for an extended period of time incurring my own new bills. I’m disabled now and working toward getting social security benefits, but that likely won’t happen anytime soon. I’m not consistently able to teach, and we didn’t plan to be in this position.  The lost wages and unexpected medical expenses have taken a toll on the family. I’ve had to increase the amount of the GoFundMe goal because of adding my medical expenses and lost wages, plus the uncertainty of when Ian can return to full time work. I’ll be very very happy to write a piece of music for you, give a concert for you or play for any of your events in exchange for a donation.
