Dear friends and family,
Our sister, Heidi Worthen Gamble, was recently diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. The prognosis seems good, but the next few months will be challenging for Heidi and her family as she goes through surgery, radiation, and possibly chemotherapy.
As many of you know, Heidi and her husband Jason are both Presbyterian ministers, and dedicate their time, energy, faith, and love to caring for the sick, ministering to the hopeless, and accompanying those most in need. We invite you to turn your loving and healing thoughts and prayers toward them now, doing for them as they have done for so many others.
We are raising extra funds to help the Gambles pay for insurance co-pays, complementary medical treatment such as nutritional counseling and naturopathy, grocery bills, and extra support with household chores and tasks. Any financial help would be appreciated.
