Aid for Angie!

Please help my dear friend Angie! On November 8th, 2017 she was in a life threatening car accident on her way home from work. She broke her lower back in 3 places and cracked her sternum. Usually her type of back breaks are literally only seen in autopsies. It is truly a miracle that she survived!
It has been a slow recovery process for Angie. She needs to use a walker to get around and is still in a lot of pain. Obviously she hasn't been released to go back to work! However, at Angie's place of work, if you don't work a certain number of hours in a year, you lose your benefit of insurance. So until Angie comes back to work, she will be out of insurance unless she is able to pay for Cobra.
This could be a true tragedy for Angie and her family! Angie's husband Tim has a lifelong, critical illness that requires expensive medicine that their insurance helps to cover. Angie and Tim can truly NOT be without insurance during this time! However, Angie currently has no paycheck or disability and has no way to pay for the cost of Cobra which will cost a minimum of $1600 a month! It has already been several months and will likely be more before she can return to work, so she can't get insurance and has no means to pay for Cobra medical. Angie and Tim so need our help!
As it is, they have been hit with so many medical bills to cover during this time period. Even the co-pays for all of the hospital stays at Kaiser and OHSU, medical appointments, physical therapy appointments and medical supplies that have been needed for her care are piling up! Think of a week as having 3 appointments with a $30 co-pay at each, just for Angie. That's $90 right there, not including medication co-pay costs and all the other things! There are so many hidden expenses that need to be covered, and the funds just aren't there.
Since they're spending all their money on these extra expenses, it makes everything else tighter in the budget. So anything we could donate could help alleviate that tightness in grocery bills, help them make their mortgage payment, and pay for all the other things that life requires.
Angie is one of the most selfless people I know. She is incredibly generous, loving, and kind to her family, friends, and everyone in her community. No one I know on earth deserves more help than Angie! If you're able to donate anything at all, please help her and her family!
