Evolutions Breakout Space Design
Donation protected
Hello! Our names are Josh Cohen and Kuba Zalesky. We could really use your help with our independent project!
We are redesigning The Cloffice -- the 10’ x 10’ workspace in between rooms 301 and 305 to create a breakout space for Evolutions students to use. The goal is to create a space where small groups can brainstorm, collaborate, work on their projects, and discuss more privately.Through our research, we learned that a change in environment can boost creativity.
We plan to build a bench, add seating, a whiteboard wall, and a recording studio. Our belief is that this space would best serve Evolutions students because a major part of the curriculum is collaboration, communication, and creativity. This space would also benefit students by providing less distractions than a busy classroom.
With your donations, we plan on purchasing proffesional grade rolling stools, a large monitor, materials for a recording studio, shelves, a fire resistant rug, a coffee table, and a few other small things to help students feel ownership of the space.
Having a place for students to come in, sit with their groups, brainstorm ideas by writing them on the walls, and project their screens onto a larger monitor, will add a very beneficial place for the future students of Evolutions.
With any donation of $50, $100, or higher, we will recognize your contribution within our space, and invite you to come and see it.
Any extra funds we do not use will be donated to the Evolutions program.
