Judge Frisch recently granted a temporary restraining order to halt the demolition of the former Saint Andrew's Church building in St. Paul by the Twin Cities German Immersion School.
HOWEVER... We must raise a bond of $1,964,354 by 2:00 pm July 22! This is a crazy amount of money, but we need to try! This could be our last chance to save one of Como Park's beautiful, treasured, historic gems.
Many of you already know us by our previous campaign. Thank you for your donations!! You successfully helped us support the preparation of a National Register nomination form. Our professional team did a thorough job and St. Andrew's Church structure is now eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places! Inclusion on the register would provide funding to help maintain the church building. This is one of the positive aspects of historic designation...
IF we can stop them from demolishing the building!
More, now than ever, we are calling you to action. Share this page! Tell your friends and family! Donate what you can right now!! We need to stop the demolition of this structure!!
If we cannot raise the bond amount by the deadline, we will return your donation less the standard GoFundMe transaction fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 per donation for credit card processing and safe transfer of funds.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! YOU BROUGHT US THIS FAR! YOUR SUPPORT IS APPRECIATED!
