Evie’s Autism Fundraiser

My name is Evie and I am 10 years old, I'm raising money in aid of SUNBEAMS PLAY a Children’s and young persons Autism charity.
I was bullied mentally and physically in main stream school and also not being looked after very well, my mum decided to take me out in December 2015,
I started Sunbeams Play in 2017 , I go there on a Saturday morning, we do cooking, role play, games and art and craft.
They have helped me make friends, be more confident and I can be myself there.
With their help I have recently started a special school.
Sunbeams Play is a non government funded autism charity, providing a safe environment for children and young people with autism and related conditions. At Sunbeams they work with the children and the families to lower these fears and help them accept the diagnosis, look at strategies and gain skills needed to improve their lives within the home, school and wider community.
Sunbeams Play is operational 5-6 days a week including school holidays, the centre costs over £150,000 a year to run, relying on grants, donations and fundraising.
