Help Evie Cooper

The mission of this GoFundMe page is to help alleviate some of the financial burden on Stephanie and Micah Cooper, the parents of Evelyn (Evie) Brooke Cooper who was born February 11th. Evie was admitted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan on Monday, February 16th after running a high fever; she remained at the hospital several days for testing, and antibiotics were administered to help lower her temperature. She was finally released on Friday, February 20th with a virus being the final diagnosis. Then on Sunday, February 22nd Evie was life flighted to the Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin after discovering she has an enlarged heart. The doctors do not believe she has a heart defect, but they do believe that the viral infection settled in her heart and is responsible for the enlargement. Over the next few days, more tests will be performed to discover the best course for future treatment. Currently, Evie is responding well; she has been comfortably sedated and has assistance with her breathing. This is all the information we have at this time, but this page will be periodically updated when additional news is received. These donations will be used to help with medical expenses (extended hospital stays and treatment) as well as other personal costs (travel, lodging, etc).
