Thank you for taking the time to support my family during this difficult period. From a young age, I feared that a moment like this could happen. On September 29, 2025, my father was stopped solely because of the color of his skin and was taken by ICE agents on Old Dixie Highway while on his way to work with his colleague and my brother. Here is the first video of them grabbing him and this is the second. They broke my father's window after he refused to lower it. The agents refused to identify themselves or provide any reason for stopping him. My brother stood up to defend their rights, but the officers mocked him and pointed a Taser at him as he tried to get their badge numbers. Despite simply being on their way to work, my father was treated like a criminal. My father is no criminal; like everyone else, he works hard to provide for his family. He did not deserve this treatment. No one does. That day left my brother deeply traumatized. For some time, we did not know where my father was or if he was safe. Now, we are fighting with everything we have to bring him home.
My father is the backbone of our family and cares for an almost one-year-old child. Every donation, no matter the size, means the world to us. El 29 de septiembre de 2025, mi padre fue detenido sólo por el color de su piel y se lo llevaron los agentes del ICE en Old Dixie Highway cuando se dirigía al trabajo con su compañero y mi hermano. Como se muestra en los vídeos, rompieron la ventanilla de mi padre después de que él se negara a bajarla. Los agentes se negaron a identificarse o a dar alguna razón porque lo habían detenido. Mi hermano se enfrentó a ellos para defender los derechos de mi padre, pero los agentes se burlaron de él y le apuntaron con una pistola Taser cuando intentaba conseguir sus números de insignia. Ahora estamos luchando con todas nuestras fuerzas para traerlo a casa.
