Hi Friends, On February 15th, 2026, I will leave on a four week volunteering experience, with a non profit called International Volunteer HQ (INVHQ).

My assignment will take me to Saint Mary, Jamaica, where I will work with children aged 2-6 at their local school; Race Course Early Childhood Institution.

INVHQ, in collaboration with V2 Volunteers has created a program in Jamaica where volunteers can work at the school from one to 12 months, assisting teachers, supporting the administration staff, and working one on one with students who have special needs.

Due to the school’s financial budget, they have had to cut back on essential school supplies. These include crayons, note books, reading materials, markers, pencils, pens, paper, flash cards, educational games and age-appropriate games for playtimes, etc.

As a Volunteer representing INVHQ, I am asking for donations, so that I might buy and bring some of these much needed supplies to Jamaica, with me.
