<div>Just two months before his diagnosis, Everett became a big brother—and he stepped into that role with so much love and pride. From the moment he met his baby sister, he’s called her “the cutest baby” and tells everyone how beautiful she is. He’s always by her side, singing sweet songs to soothe her and helping in any way he can. Even as he faces his own battles, his gentle care for his sister shines through—a powerful reflection of the kind and compassionate soul he is.

<div>Recently, Everett was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer. What started as persistent stomach pain quickly escalated into something far more serious. Scans revealed a tumor over 7 centimeters in size, wrapped around critical arteries near his kidney and spleen. In an instant, Everett’s world—and his family’s—was turned upside down.

<div>The journey ahead is daunting. Everett will undergo 18 months of intensive treatment, including chemotherapy, surgery, a stem cell transplant, radiation, and immunotherapy. It’s a heavy load for any child—but Everett’s name means “strong and courageous,” and he’s already showing just how true that is.
