<div><strong>I’m delighted to be running the 2026 Manchester Marathon to support <em>Georgia’s Voice - </em>a charity dedicated to preventing suicide in young women.</strong>

<div>As someone who has gradually clawed their way out of suicidal thoughts throughout adolescence, I know how all-consuming it can be. I also know how life-saving it is to have a space where you can be open and vulnerable about what’s going on without feeling like a burden to those you love. Georgia’s Voice creates this valuable space.

<div>Cornwall is one of the poorest funded authorities in the country, and long waiting lists often mean that those who aren’t visibly in crisis may never get seen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a charity, Georgia’s Voice fills this gap in the system. <strong>They provide immediate in-person support, free therapy and resources to young women struggling with mental health issues across Cornwall - helping them find hope and connection.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>I'm training hard to complete the Manchester Marathon, and it’s often when running that I’m flooded with this intense gratitude that me and my family got through those messy years. Because some don’t! Heck, I almost didn’t. And we can’t be letting that happen. Ultimately I can’t stand the thought of someone feeling the way younger me did. Of course the obvious thing to do about it is run 26 miles…
