Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out today on behalf of my sweet niece, who has just been readmitted to the hospital due to a significant decline in her heart function. What was supposed to be the start of a new school year filled with friends and fun has turned into a long, uncertain road — she now has to stay in the hospital for the next 6 to 12 months as she awaits a life-saving heart transplant.

She’s recently been moved up on the transplant list from a Status 2 to a Status 1B, which is hopeful news — but we still don’t know when the call for a new heart will come. In the meantime, she’ll be homeschooled in the hospital, and she’s heartbroken to miss out on the normal experiences every kid deserves. She misses her friends deeply and is struggling with the isolation and sadness that come with this unexpected turn.

We are asking for your prayers, love, and support during this incredibly tough time. If you feel called to help financially, all funds raised will go toward:

Travel expenses for family visiting her at the Cleveland Clinic (my sister lives “too close” to qualify for a room at the Ronald McDonald House)

DoorDash meals to give her a break from hospital food and bring a little comfort and variety to her days

Any other small comforts that can help brighten her long stay in the hospital
