Wrongful Termination Legal Fund

Ronald Evans filed a discrimination and retaliation lawsuit against the City of Cincinnati for unjustly discharging him from the Cincinnati Fire Department. The case went to trial, but justice was not served.

Mr. Evans worked for the department for nearly 17 years. He was labled as a trouble maker and "special project" after filing a complaint against a fellow Caucasion Firefighter who told Mr. Evans, "You don't belong here boy."

The following points are just a few reasons why we are appealing and why we need your support.

*Vital documents were not admitted by his counsel.
*The star witness was his immediate supervisor.
*His supervisor was also retaliated against for supporting Mr. Evans' claims.
*This witness filed his own suit against the City of Cincinnati and won. His case was birthed from the charges filed by Mr. Evans.
*The trial was rescheduled more than once and Mr. Evans was not consulted by his counsel beforehand.
*Potential minority jurors were struck and Mr. Evans' counsel did not contest it.

After three years of searching for new employment, Ronald has only recently gained employment earning an income of a little over minimum wage. May 15th, 2014 will be Ronald's first paycheck since July, 2010.

We are asking for your donations to support this legal fund to help Ronald Evans continue his fight for three years of loss wages and damages.
