Evans 50 & FLL with children

Hi Everyone, Thank you for taking the time to look at this campaign. I am not normally one to ask for assistance. I have set up this page for a few reasons, 1. It is my 50th Birthday in June. 2. On the day of my birthday my children will be competing in their 1st international comp. for First Lego League. The picture is them competing at Nationals in Sydney at Macquarie Uni.  First Lego League is a lego robotics competition with a conversation component. The team have to design, build and programme there robot. Come up with a water conservation idea research this all while keeping up with the core values of the competition. As parents we have to come up with the all costs to travel to the competition.  This includes air fair, accommodation, entry fees, transfers to and from the competition. The competition for us is in Tallinn Estonia in early June 2018. As this falls at the same time of my 50th, I am asking my friends and family to help. I was going to have a party and invite everyone and yes this would have been a great night. However instead of buying something for me can I ask that you just put the money that you may have spent on a present in to this fund.  I know the amount is large however if just 150 of you each put in $50 my total is reached. This will be the first time that I have been away with my children and being with them and celebrating my 50th with would be very special to me, as my own father passed two weeks before his 50th. I can't thank you enough for your support even if only a few dollars
