Evan Borchert's Eagle Project

My name is Evan Borchert. I am a Life scout with troop 873 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. For my Eagle project I want to create blessing bags for the homeless at the Denver Rescue Mission. I want to do this because for the past 5 years I have been helping out the homeless on Thanksgiving morning by giving out breakfast burritos and donated clothing. So I thought that helping the homeless would be a perfect Eagle project for me because of the impact it made on me by helping out all those years.

Some of the items I would like to put in the bags include a razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, Chapstick, granola bars, and water.  If I exceed my fundraising goal I will donate the rest to the Denver Rescue Mission.
