Eugene's Father's Funeral

Hey everyone, it's Eugene.
I pray that you would be blessed with God's peace and blessing.
On July 26,
my father went to go be with our Heavenly Father at the age of 70.
He's had lung issues that worsened over time.
He passed away on the way to the hospital.
I've been thinking a lot. I didn't think I would be hurt because he was away from my life for so long, but I miss taking care of him.
I miss our honest conversations, his touch, his smell - I miss it all.
But I'm thankful that he believed in God and that I can see him again in heaven.
I'm so thankful that his final wish, that our relationship would be restored, came true before he went to heaven.
If I were better off, I could have prepared a better place, better clothes, better everything. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
The total funeral cost is estimated to be around $14,000,
which needs to be raised by August 2.

(3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, CA 90601).
Our family is deepy saddened, but we are thankful and joyful that my father is having a good time in paradise with God. We give all thanks and glory to God, who has been with us through all of this.

7월 26일 저희 아버지께서 향년 70세 나이로 하나님 곁으로 떠나셨습니다.
아버지께서 폐에 문제가 있으셨는데,
그것이 악화 되어 병원으로 이송도중 심장이 멎으셨습니다.
참 많은 생각이 들더군요.
오래동안 떨어져 계셨던 아버지, 많이 아프지 않을 줄 알았는데,
아프셔도, 귀찮아도, 아버지 물떠다 드리는 것 부터, 밥상 차려드리는 것, 볼일 처리까지 전부 다 그립더군요.
아버지와 나눴던 진솔한 이야기들, 아버지의 살결을 느꼈던 모든 것들, 아버지의 냄새 전부 다 그립습니다.
그래도 감사한 것은, 하나님을 믿으셨고, 천국에서 다시 볼 수 있다는 소망과,
아버지의 마지막 소원이신 저와의 관계회복을 다 이루고 가셨다는 것에
너무 감사드립니다.
제가 능력이 훨씬 많이 있다면 아버지께 더 좋은 곳, 더 좋은 옷,
그리고 더 좋은 것들을 드리고 싶은데
현재 상황이 많이 넉넉하지는 않은 상황입니다.
총 장례예배에 들어갈 금액은 $14,000 정도로 예상하고 있습니다.
모든 금액은 8월 2일 전까지 필요한 상황입니다.
