High school club Baloon Launch

Donation protected
My Name is Skyler Fennell, and my FCC U.S. amateur radio extra class call sign is KD0WHB. As a senior, I attend the Denver School of the Arts High School, and major in Piano, however, I am really interested in electronics, radio frequency, inventing things, and building things.

I recently started the Denver School of the Arts KE0FXH amateur radio club, and serve as the club trustee and president.  The purpose of this club is to bring science and technology to the school, which is primarily focused on the arts. Here, we experiment with electronic circuits, and wireless technology. This club is currently student-funded, and all of the projects we have built so far have been parts bought by our own money or stuff I already had laying around found at ham radio flea markets (hamfests) etc.

We are designing an experiment for the Edge of Space Sciences (eoss.org) high altitude balloon launch in February of 2016. Because we are an amateur radio club, some of our payload ideas include sending radio signals from the elevation, testing RF propagation and/or taking measurements at the high altitude of over 100,000 feet!

But to launch a payload with the Edge of Space Sciences February 13th flight, there is a flight fee of $350, and we are hoping for some help to make this happen.

This means a lot for not only our club members, but the status of the school, and peaking student interest in the STEM field (Science Technology Engineering Math).

The video shows the launch of EOSS 214, a previous high-altitude balloon carrying student payloads whereas I was a team member. I was on the payload team for STEM School and Academy AB0BX ARC in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.  I designed a payload circuit, using a homemade sound generator, where a Go-Pro camera helped measure how altitude effects the propagation of sound. I am hoping to create new payloads, for the KE0FXH Denver School of Arts ARC, and would be grateful towards funds to help pay or flight fee and/or monies needed on the project.
