Hurricane Odile Disaster Baja Sur

After being in the belly of the beast and surviving Hurricane Odile we saw first hand the total destruction the hurricane poured down on the good people of Puerto Los Cabos. Many estimate it may take over a month before power is restored to the local communities. With homes destroyed, families are struggling to get drinkable water and food. Most all gas stations were destroyed and 6 days after the Hurricane lines for gasoline were still over 2 miles long. 
 Tourism is the Baja Peninsulas only source of economy. With most all hotels suffering major damage it will be a long time before tourism rebounds and citizens can earn money to provide for their families.
     We are raising money that will go directly to the local fishermen and their families. The money raised will be used to purchase fuel for the fishermen's boats and generators, so the fishermen can get back to Sea catching fish which will be used to feed the families of the struggling hurricane survivors. An average of $50 to $150 worth of fuel is needed per boat per day to get the men to where the fish are. By donating to this cause you will be direclty helping our Mexican fishing friends who in return will be supplying fresh fish to the families in need. We promise you no fish will go uneaten. The Bible says give a man a fish he eats for a day, teach a man to fish he can eat for a lifetime. Help us supply fuel for those who can continue to feed their community.
