Chosen in Him - 2023

Hello everyone as some of you may know a few years ago, (2016) I started a fundraising project called “Gifts for Kids” where I collected donations to buy gifts for sick children and families in need. I wanted to give back to families and kids who aren’t able to enjoy Christmas like we do by opening gifts sitting around a tree and just having that Christmas spirit.

In 2021 I moved to Florida, and going through so many changes I was unable to do the fundraiser, But in 2022 I wanted to get back on track for a few reasons; moving to a different state doesn’t mean the need is less here, especially after Hurricane Ian. Secondly, I honestly felt a bit empty and disappointed that I was unable to follow through with the fundraiser last year which only affirmed my desire to continue it and set a goal to launch this fundraiser into a non-profit that will grow so I can bless children and their families throughout the year.

This is my fifth official year conducting this fundraiser and I’ve decided to change the name to “Chosen In Him” because I want to remind people that no matter our circumstances, no matter our past we have been chosen by God. He has chosen you, loves you, and wants the best for you. We are all Chosen in Him whether it’s to lead, serve, receive, etc, He wants us to be a part of His life.

I was always successful because of the generosity of friends and family and I’m reaching out in hopes that you can help me continue to be successful, and be a blessing to so many little ones and their families. So as ONE let’s come together to help one another and show/spread the love of God.

In the past 4 years, WE have gifted to over 200 children and I don’t know about you, but I would love to watch those numbers go up. Let’s make the 5th year a year to celebrate!!
