Ethan's Surgery & Recovery @ BCH

At the beginning of October, Ethan's parents will be headed back to Boston Childrens Hospital with their sweet 12 year old, Ethan. Ethan is scheduled for a long awaited surgery essential to restoring his airway, which-we now know, is collapsed on the lower left side of his esophagus, leading directly to his left lung. This procedure, while (thankfully) routine for Boston Children`s Hospital, is very serious & requires a very well-monitored, lengthy recovery. This recovery is further complicated by Ethan`s Severe Autism, Apraxia of Speech(Non-Verbal) & Sensory Processing Disorder. The Doctor`s have requested that both Mom & Dad be present/available for the entirety of Ethan`s hospital stay.  They have never left any of their boys for longer than a school day, and definitely not for the period of 3 weeks required for Ethan to recover on an in-patient basis at Boston Children's Hospital. Family will be staying with the boys in their absence. While Mom & Dad are away supporting Ethan's recovery, they will also need to support the monthly bills, existing medical bills from prior visits and bills yet to come. We are here to help Mom & Dad cover expenses for out of state care, the Family Home, Children & Caretakers, as well as Daily Meals & Transportation to and from the Hospital.
