Esvin Vasquez Life taken by Street Violence

Hello, my name is Carolina Guzman and on Sunday 11/13 at 2 in the morning, my nephew, Esvin Vasquez life was taken away by street violence in Queens, New York. He was coming home from work, and a group of men attacked him on his way home hitting him with a wooden plank causing severed injuries which put him in the hospital. Unfortunately, he did not make it and passed away the same day. The men who did this to my nephew have not been found. He left his wife Sofia and his baby Sammy back in Guatemala. He came to the US to work to build his family a home back in Guatemala. Sadly, his family does not have the enough money to finish the project and will have to gather money to transport his body to Guatemala so they can make a proper burial for him. All of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be directly sent to Esvin’s family to fund his funeral. Thank you for taking the time to read this message and we appreciate all your donations. Hola, mi nombre es Carolina Guzmán y el domingo 13 de noviembre a las 2 de la mañana, mi sobrino, Esvin Vásquez, le quitaron la vida por la violencia callejera en Queens, Nueva York. Estaba volviendo a casa del trabajo, y un grupo de hombres lo atacó de camino a casa golpeándolo con una tabla de madera causando lesiones cortadas que lo pusieron en el hospital. Desafortunadamente, no lo logro y falleció el mismo día. No se han encontrado a los hombres que le hicieron esto a mi sobrino. Dejó a su esposa Sofía y a su bebé Sammy en Guatemala. Vino a los EE. UU. a trabajar y hacer dinero para construir un casa para su familia en Guatemala. Lamentablemente, su familia no tiene suficiente dinero para terminar el proyecto y tendrá que reunir dinero para transportar su cuerpo a Guatemala para que puedan hacer un entierro adecuado para él. Todas las donaciones de esta recaudación de fondos se enviarán directamente a la familia de Esvin para financiar su funeral.
