For Baby Brycen and his family

A family is in need of some help due to an illness their infant son has been fighting over the past month.
Brycen, a little over 4 months old, was hospitalized having two respiratory viruses. This all began August 29. These respiratory viruses caused his immune system to weaken, which led to septicemia and bacterial menigitis. He is now dealing with the complications associated with this serious illness. Some of the complications he has encountered include seizures and undergoing brain surgery to relieve pressure and clean pus pockets that formed between his brain and meninges, also called empyemas. He will be in the hospital for an undetermined amount of time until they can get all of the complications under control. He may have additional surgeries to remove any other pus pockets that the doctor was not able to get during the first surgery. He could, possibly, have life long complications from this disease, as well.
Since Brycen's mom, Ainslee, is having to spend 24 hours a day at the hospital with him, she is out of work on unpaid leave right now. Brycen's dad, Manuel, is working two jobs to pay as many of the regular living expenses he can but that is not covering all of the bills, much less the medical bills once they start coming in. As most families rely on two incomes this is creating a huge burden on their financial lives. The medical bills are growing daily. Even though Brycen does have medical insurance, this will not cover 100% of the expensive medical bills his family will have to endure. Luckily Brycen and his family have wonderful parents and grandparents to help with Ainslee's 9 year old son, Zayne. They are helping to get him to and from school, helping him with his homework, getting him to and from baseball practices and games, plus plenty of other things that go along with caring for a 9 year old child. They are trying to help keep his life as normal as possible as he also has to deal with the changes in his life due to his baby brother and mother having to be in the hospital for so long. He is ready for his brother and mom to go home. The grandparents and Zayne spend as much time as they can at the hospital to support Brycen, Ainslee and Manuel during this very difficult time.
