Esther’s medical transport

Many of you know Esther, as well as her love and dedication for handicapped children. Up until last Sunday, she has been doing humanitarian work in the orphanages of Kiev. One of the greatest challenges in Esther’s life is that she suffers from epilepsy. Epilepsy is an illness that complicates every area of her life.
Last Sunday she was admitted to an ICU in Kiev because her seizures became both so heavy and so frequent that she requires permanent medical attention. She is still there and is waiting to be transported to a neurological clinic in Germany.
We are now looking for financial aid to help with the costs of transport. The approximate total for transport and additional requirements will be 8,500€. If you can help us financially, please donate to the account below, this account is able to issue tax receipts.
Unfortunately, Esther is heavily medicated and only intermittently lucid. We respectfully request that you refrain from contacting her, as well as her Parents, as the former needs rest and the latter are occupied by the logistical challenge at hand. We will try our best to keep everybody updated.

Viele von euch kennen Esther sowie ihre Liebe und Hingabe für Kinder mit Behinderungen. Zuletzt war sie in Waisenheimen in Kiev tätig.
Esther leidet an Epilepsie, eine Krankheit, die jeden Aspekt ihres Alltags erschwert. Letzten Samstag wurde sie in die Intensivstation in Kiev eingeliefert, da ihre epileptischen Anfälle so heftig und zahlreich geworden sind, dass sie permanent unter ärztlicher Aufsicht stehen muss. Dort befindet sie sich immer noch. Derweil organisieren wir den Krankentransport in eine neurologische Klinik in Freiburg, dieser wird voraussichtlich € 8500 kosten, dafür bitten wir um finanzielle Unterstützung.

Leider ist Esther unter dem Einfluss ihrer Medikamente nur bedingt und nur zeitweise ansprechbar. Aus Rücksicht auf Esthers Genesungsprozess und ihre Privatsphäre, sowie der logistischen Herausforderung dem sich ihre Eltern derzeit widmen, bitten wir alle Nahestehenden für das Erste von Kontaktaufnahmen abzusehen.
