Hello, this is an urgent appeal to the whole community to support my friend from Colombia Esteban Garcia, who unfortunately had a very severe motor vehicle accident on July 19th.
As every morning, Esteban was going on his motorcycle on the way to study when unfortunately he suffered a serious accident that caused the loss of part of his right leg. He is still needing 2 surgeries to go related to the amputation. His recovery can last for up to a year, requiring both physical and psychological therapies.
Esteban has always been recognised by his friends for his taste for dance, soccer and sports activities. He came to Brisbane 2 years ago as an international student and was studying an Advance Diploma of Engineering Technology. He has always been a hard worker who managed to pay for his studies.
The recovery process will not allow him to study or continue his work for approximately one year. Esteban's dream is to finish his studies and practice as a professional in Australia.
That is why we come to all of you, to support him with his mother company during his recovery period and give them financial support during this period of time during they can not be active in their work.
We thank the entire community for their financial donations and all the motivation they can give Esteban and his family.
