</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For those of you who may not know me, I am your brother Abul 'Abbās Zakariyya (founder of Carriers of the Qurān), a British revert currently living in the Gambia as a Muhājir and a student in Imām Al-Bukhāry College, the faculty of Hadīth.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After making Hijra to The Gambia in 2023, it soon became apparent that the country - despite it's beauty - needs A LOT of work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From that which raised much concern is the large amount of Muhājirīn (migrants) here, living and working yet we are yet to find somewhere concrete, successfully bringing them together and strengthening the ranks.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In addition, and perhaps even more concerning is the fact that there are so many Muslims who have been here for up to 20 years - or more - yet are completely blocked and hindered from being able to study their religion within the country because they either don't understand the local languages such as Mandinka or Wollof, or they don't understand Arabic to be able to benefit from those who teach in Arabic...
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is what initially inspired the idea for "Masjid ul-Muhājirīn”, following the example of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and then the advice of our teachers here in The Gambia, a Masjid that CLINGS to the Sunnah, CALLS to the Sunnah and DEFENDS the Sunnah and bring the people together upon none other than the authentic Sunnah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If we study the Sīrah of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ we learn that the first thing that he did when he made Hijra to Al-Madinah was establish a Masjid which served not only as a place of worship, but also a hub for educating the Muslims and creating unity amongst them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Shaykh ‘Abdur Razzāq Al-Badr حفظه الله said: <strong>“this proves the obligation of the Masjid being the first priority of the Muslim, and when he resides in a place that should be at the forefront of his mind.”</strong> [Sharh ul-Urjūzatul Mī’iyyah]
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This, along with many other reasons, ignited the idea to establish a masjid, a school and a community built upon the ancient Salafi foundation of “At-Tasfiyyah wat-Tarbiyyah” (purifying and educating the people) in a rapidly developing Islamic environment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So after the necessary meetings and tireless planning we have concluded that we need an approximate of <strong>£100,000</strong> to start and complete the project from scratch and after the aid of Allāh, we also need YOUR aid and assistance to bring this project into fruition.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The sought amount will be used to;
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Phase 1:</strong> Complete the purchase of the land
</div>
<div><strong>Phase 2:</strong> Establish the initial building of the Masjid
</div>
<div><strong>Phase 3:</strong> Complete the necessary additions such as the car-park and the upstairs library etc.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>[Please note the this amount is only an estimate and an approximation based upon diligent research]</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Note: The masjid will offer;
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>The 5 daily prayers
</li>
<li>The Jumu'ah khutbah (in English and Arabic)
</li>
<li>Eid prayer
</li>
<li>Weekly classes in 'Aqidah, Fiqh, Qurān, Arabic etc. (also taught in English)
</li>
<li>A madrasah which will be offered FREE to the local Gambian children
</li>
<li>A general library and study space for the students of knowledge
</li>
<li>Other charity projects targeting the "less-fortunate" locals
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>and much more…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>[Disclaimer: We understand that there are other masājid in The Gambia, however, the point still remains that there is still a major void that recognisably needs to be filled and thus we have embarked upon this project after seeking advice from our teachers here in the Gambia.]</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you would like any more information about the project then feel free to send an email.

</div>
<div>-
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>[يرجى ملاحظة أن هذا المبلغ هو مجرد تقدير وتقريب يعتمد على البحث الدؤوب]</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>الصلوات الخمس -
</div>
</div>
<div>صلاة العيد -
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>...
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
