ESO Artisanal Pasta LLC

ESO Artisanal Pasta LLC is a small Black and Latino owned business based out of Morristown, New Jersey. Our team is made up of Co-Founders Isaiah Findley-Pinnock, Joel Camarillo-Diaz, and Ayinde (AJ) Adelaja Sankofa, all of whom are Morristown High School graduates and contributing members of the local community.

Our pasta business came about spontaneously right in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic when Joel reached out to AJ with the idea of starting a pasta business utilizing the skillset AJ gained while spending two years in Italy studying the culinary arts and working in a One Michelin Starred restaurant (Ristorante Larossa). The ideas quickly bounced back and forth and became a reality relatively quickly with the storefront for the business opening just two months after the initial conversation of starting the company occurred. Since the opening of our storefront just two weeks ago we have seen a tremendous influx of customers throughout New Jersey.

Our company was recently invited to the Morristown Farmers Market to sell our pastas and sauces every Sunday until November. The increasingly high volume of pasta being sold at our storefront combined with the invitation to the Farmers Market calls for an increase in pasta production and storage space which brought us to the conclusion of needing a refrigerated/freezer van.

Obtaining a refrigerated/freezer van will allow our company to spread its wings throughout the Tri-State area with the ability to deliver our products to customers and restaurants, as well as the ability to efficiently bring our products to the Farmers Market and sell directly out of the truck. The ability for us to deliver will benefit the community on a large scale during this time of social distancing and emphasis on contactless transactions. We will also be able to fill the demand for the Gluten-Free and Vegan target market which has a heavy presence at the Morristown Farmers Market.

We are hoping to receive funds for this refrigerated/freezer van as soon as possible so that we can expand efficiently and progressively. This would be a huge step forward for our company that aligns perfectly with our mission statement of "Bringing the authentic flavors of Italy to your home." Nothing is more important to us than sharing with our community all of the amazing knowledge and technique that AJ was able to retain during his time spent in Italy. In fact, rather than going down the restaurant route that all three founders are not only familiar but rather comfortable with, we opted to sell our products with instructions on how to prepare them at home which provides an educational experience as well as an opportunity to spend quality time around the dinner table with family.

These donations would mean the world not only to us but also to our community. As entrepreneurs, we are constantly searching for ways to innovate and manifest the opportunities we are presented with into success stories that add value to our Morristown community. We are confident that with your support we will continually provide an amazing product and service that will nurture the bellies and minds to all who have the pleasure of experiencing them. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to learn more about ESO Artisanal Pasta LLC, we look forward to serving you with a smile!
