Esmés leukaemia Battle

Hello, My name is Claire, my partner is James and I am a very proud mum to 5 wonderful children. Our youngest daughter Esmé is 15 months old and was born with congenital heart disease, chronic lung disease, Transient Leukaemia and Downs Syndrome. On the 1st of September this year Our world fell apart when we had the call we’d been dreading, Every parents nightmare, our precious little girls leukaemia has turned into full blown childhood leukaemia. She now has AML and is currently in Bristol children’s hospital receiving intense chemotherapy. Unfortunately we are here until Easter. This means being separated from our 4 other children which breaks our hearts every day. We cannot begin to explain to you all how horrendous it is to have a child fighting cancer and also be torn away from the rest of our family. My heart aches for each of my 5 children not just our darling Esmé. I feel an enormous amount of guilt as a mother for not being there for them, and I want them to know just how proud James and I are of them and how they’re coping with all of this heartache. This is the last thing I wanted to set up as we do not like asking for help but I have had several people contact me asking if Esmé has a fundraising page or if there’s anything they can do to help us. It means the world to us that people want to help our family. We cannot thank you enough. We would be grateful for anything you are able to do for our family.
