Esight for Cain Ross

Donation protected
5 years ago an active 4th grader was running around playing with his friends like all normal 4th grade boys were doing with no cares in the world but hanging out with friends.  Little did he know that one day his life would change in an instant.  His school teacher at keaukaha elementary school, Casey Hanoa, noticed that Cain was having trouble seeing in school and notified his parents.  After a year of testing to find out why all of a sudden Cain could only see 20% , Cain was diagnosed as having Lebers hereditary optic neuropathy or  LHON.

LHON is an optic nerve disorder that can suddenly cause loss of central vision.  It's is a genetic mutation passed down from
the mother to all offsprings, however not everyone who carries a LHON mutation losss vision.  It's  a very rare condition affecting about 1 in 50,000.

Esight has developed a device that would be able to help legally blind people to see again.  This isn't a 100% device that may help Cain since every individual is different but Cain opted to try this device in hopes that he'll be able to see once again.

I am asking for help to give this strong, independent, kind hearted, young man a chance to be able to try out the esight device that may give him his sight ability once again. He turns 15 on Sunday march 4th and as a 15 year old, as most of remember, are high school times where we want to enjoy football games, basketball games, movies, dates, and many many more things that high school has to offer.  Don't get me wrong, this young man has never stopped his life and never gave up.  He never said why me or I've never heard him say he wanted to give up because he couldn't see.  He played basketball and even shot 3 pointers, which is way better than me and I can see.  He's not only taught me that life isn't that bad if you keep remembering that God has blessed you with a life, but also reminded me that any hurdles you have to overcome big or small, you keep fighting and keep moving forward.

If, unfortunately, the glasses does not work for cain, we will donate any collected donations to help someone else see with an Esight device.   The device is actually $10,000 but chad and I have already put down half of the costs to get the device started.  We ask for any help to help cain see again.

Thank you in advance for the support!!!  God bless each and everyone of you and remember to love each other everyday especially especially your children ❤️❤️❤️

Much love .... Cindy ❤️
