Please take a moment and read this to help support 3 young boys, who just lost their mother, to attend college.

My name is Mike and I created this site for my older sister, Frances, who passed away before she had a chance to see her 3 boys grow up. Frances Marie Ocampo Esguerra passed away on October 13, 2013 in her sleep at home; one week before her 36th birthday. She was born and raised in San Francisco's Excelsior District and struggled as a young, single mother. My biggest regret is that she never had a chance to really enjoy the pleasures of life. Her biggest hope was for her sons to be successful in school and obtain the educational and career opportunities she will never have the chance to see into fruition.

Frances' oldest son, Justin, is a 17 year old senior at Abraham Lincoln High School. He attended Hillcrest Elementary, Sanchez Elementary, Mission Dolores Elementary and Gateway High School. He attended Making Waves Education Program and played football for Lincoln's championship team. He is an All City wrestler, Youth Speaks member and founder of spoken word club "Fresh Voices." He was a volunteer summer camp counselor at St. John Elementary and Grattan Elementary School. This past summer he raised money to finance his study abroad trip to Nicaragua with Global Glimpse. He is currently applying to public and private colleges both in and outside of California and wants to major in Business. He hopes to move out of San Francisco to attend and graduate college and be a strong male role model for his 2 younger brothers.

Anthony (10) and Patrocinio (8), both currently attend Longfellow Elementary School. They are members of Pin@y Educational Partnerships (PEP) and active members in their school's community. Anthony wants to be a veterinarian when he grows up so he can help animals like our family dog, Deebo. When Patrocinio grows up he wants to be a pediatrician so he can help kids like him feel better.

Our first priority is to take care of the 3 boys emotionally and spiritually as we all mourn the loss of their mother and try to provide them with a stable family environment. Our next priority is to create a sustainable way to financially support 2 school age children and a young man on his way to college. All money donated on this site will go DIRECTLY to any costs related to their college expenses via a 529 plan. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for each child so we can confidently tell them that all they have to do is be successful in school like their mom wanted and we will be able to take care of the rest. Please take a moment to help support the Esguerra boys and make their mom proud. "Many hands make light the work." Help share their story and reach our goal by reposting. Thank you.
