Who we are

We are the Shifnal Lions U12s girls team, a passionate and hardworking group of young footballers. In only our second season together, we compete week in, week out in the boys league, testing ourselves against tough opposition and showing just how determined we are.

Why we’re fundraising

We have an exciting opportunity to take part in the ESF National Tournament at Butlins, Bognor Regis. This is one of the biggest grassroots football tournaments in the UK and would give our players the chance to experience a fantastic weekend of competition against teams from all over the country.

How the funds will be used

The money we raise will go directly towards:

• Tournament entry fees

• Accommodation costs for the weekend

This support will make the trip possible for every girl in our squad.

Why it matters

Football means so much to these girls. They push themselves every week to improve, taking on tough challenges and giving their all. Many of them train or play 4–6 days a week, often representing two or three different teams. Their dedication, passion, and love for the game is incredible.

This tournament would not just be about football – it would be about team spirit, memories, and giving the girls an experience they’ll never forget.
