In this film we introduce Vicky, our inspiration, who was just a child when she had to quit school to work in fields and later as a servant for the rich in Mexico City.
And we introduce our little angel Juan Carlos, who suffers everyday with epidermolysis bullosa, the most painful genetic condition known to modern medicine. Because of this and lack of finances he is not able to go to school. The few times in his life he has been to school, he suffers more pain from the friction of his clothing and bullying from the other kids. They laugh and call him hurtful names like "monster" and "freak".
It is our mission and ultimate goal, driven by passion, to help change the world by helping as many children in poverty stricken developing countries as possible who for either financial and/or medical reasons, are not ale to go to school or receive medical care. In doing this we believe that we can help bring an end to extreme poverty, crime, corruption and over population in developing countries by empowering children, one student at a time, with a quality education and tools to discover a positive and fulfilling life as a knowledgeable, leading & contributing member of their society so they too can achieve their dreams.
