My name is jhonnayker David Paredes Marquez, I am a student of the 8th semester of Physics at the Central University of Venezuela. I currently work as a trainer in the Laboratory of Physical Demonstration, as well as I belong to the extension group of the Faculty of Sciences called Spetrum, an official member of The Optical Society (OSA) and the Society of Photographic Intrumentation Engineers (SPIE).
I was selected to participate in the Latin American School of Observational Astronomy 2020, to be held from January 5 to 24 in Mexico for which only 12 regular students from different countries were accepted, in this time I will be representing Venezuela, being the only one Selected of my country.
The School is oriented to learning the fundamentals of modern astronomy in the visible spectrum as well as in other wavelengths. These concepts are reinforced with astronomical observations using the 1 m telescope of the Tonantzintla Observatory of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). In addition, the techniques of reduction, analysis and interpretation of the data will be reviewed. My intention to attend this School being at the culminating stage of my career, is to know and learn this area of work that has physics, allowing me to know the techniques, instruments and the different types of software that are currently used as work tools At the highest scientific level, in this way I wish to give a focus to the investigation of my Special Degree Work.
The socio-economic situation of my country is free knowledge to the whole world but I consider that this should not be a limitation to fulfill goals and dreams that help you grow in the academic, personal and professional fields.
The School costs the lodging and food of the selected ones, but does not include the flight ticket and it is precisely there where I want to ask for your support, the flight ticket from Venezuela to Mexico is approximately $ 1080. It is a unique opportunity in my career, I thank everyone who puts their trust in me and with a small but valuable collaboration allows me to represent my country.

Actualmente me desempeño como preparador en el Laboratorio de Demostraciones de la Escuelad Física, asi como también pertenezco al grupo de extensión de la Facultad de Ciencias denominado Spetrum, miembro oficial en The Optical Society (OSA) y la Society of Photographic Intrumentation Engineers (SPIE).
Fui seleccionado para participar en la Escuela Latinoamericana de Astronomía Observacional 2020, a realizarse del 5 al 24 de enero en Mexico para la cual solo fuimos aceptados 12 estudiantes regulares de distintos países, en el que en esta oportunidad estaré representando a Venezuela, siendo el único seleccionado por mi país.
La Escuela está orientada al aprendizaje de los fundamentos de la astronomía moderna en el espectro visible así como en otras longitudes de ondas. Estos conceptos se refuerzan con observaciones astronómicas utilizando el telescopio de 1 m del Observatorio de Tonantzintla de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Mi intención al asistir a esta Escuela estando en la etapa culminante de mi carrera, es poder conocer esta área de trabajo que tiene la física, permitiendome conocer las técnicas ,instrumentos y los diferentes tipos de software que se utilizan en la actualidad como herramientas de trabajo en el más alto nivel científico, de esta manera deseo poder darle un enfoque a la investigación de mi Trabajo Especial de Grado.
Es de libre conocimiento la situación socio-económica de mi país pero considero que eso no debe ser una limitante para cumplir metas y sueños que te ayuden a crecer en el ámbito académico, personal y profesional.
La Escuela costea el hospedaje y la alimentación de los seleccionados, pero no incluye el boleto aéreo y es precisamente allí donde quiero pedir el apoyo de ustedes, el boleto aéreo ida y vuelta desde Venezuela a Mexico se encuentra aproximadamente en 1080$. Es una oportunidad única en mi carrera, agradezco a todo aquel que deposite su confianza en mi y que con una pequeña pero valiosa colaboración me permita representar a mi país.
