Kevin McKee and his Family

After working hard to support his family for many years, my brave, wonderful, talented brother, Kevin McKee, is battling COPD; he is now in Stage 4 (end stage) of this terrible, debilitating disease. In early June 2017, he was diagnosed with lung cancer which, despite best medical efforts, metastasized to his adrenal glands, left femur and back; he is now in Stage 4 of that disease as well.
His wife, Linda White McKee, has been faithfully by his side week in and week out for the past several months, but being the main caregiver is extremely draining, emotionally and physically. I honestly don't know how she does it. She is currently only able to work one day a week at her outside job to help support him and their family and pets. Their two young adult kids are both working and helping them as best they can, but it's not enough, and Linda's time is now almost entirely taken up with caring for Kevin. This normally self-sufficient and proud American family is now struggling financially due to this unexpected and heartbreaking situation. Linda also recently lost her mother-in-law, her own mother and her step-dad, for whom Linda was also caring. Despite being very ill himself, Kevin also spent a great deal of time helping and being there for our mother, who lived closest to them. So the last few years have been extremely difficult for this little family.
With their consent, I have set up this fundraiser for them, and I'm reaching out to you now on behalf of Kevin and Linda to help see them through this crisis. Any amount is welcome, and all donations are set up to go directly to Linda and Kevin to help with their bills, utilities, food, etc. during this very difficult time. GFM takes off about 8% for its processing plus earning fee, but Linda and Kevin will receive the rest; or you may contribute to them privately as well.
