Remember Natalie

Last week we lost our dear friend Natalie Reizis, a beautiful, funny, caring and optimistic person.
Natalie left behind two sons and a daughter, loving husband, parents, a sister, a dog and, of course, a lot of friends.
Natalie loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed hiking and traveling, listening to jazz, rock and musical theater, fishing and gardening, dancing and playing tennis, cooking and eating good food. Natalie loved spending time with friends and family
Only two things she didn’t like: boredom and doctor’s appointments.
After being diagnosed with cancer two years ago, Natalie didn’t give up for a moment – instead, she put all her energy into exploring places near and far, planting and growing flowers, and getting her friends together to create memories that would stay with us for the rest of our lives.
Natalie left us on March 1st, the first day of spring, and to commemorate her love of nature and all living things, we would like to build a small gazebo and a bench bearing her name in one of the parks, which she visited so often and where her spirit will always live.
Your participation in this project will be greatly appreciated. No amount is too little.
Any leftover money will be donated to camp Hope for cancer patients, which truly helped Natalie at the time to keep her spirits up and continue to fight.

Первого марта мы потеряли Наташу Рейзис.
Она оставила за собой детей, родителей, мужа, друзей. И собаку.
Много любящих личностей.
Она была замечательным человеком.
Она любила всё: гулять, кататься на велосипеде, путешествовать, устраивать детские дни рождения, шить костюмы для взослых вечеринок, сажать цветы и играть в Что Где Когда. Любила готовить, есть сама и собирать друзей. Любила кормить уточек на озере. Любила жить.
Не любила скучать и ходить к докторам.
Узнав о болезни завела орхидеи и полетела в Южную Америку. А потом еще и еще куда-то.
Успела за два года очень многое.
Не сдавалась болезни до самого конца.
Хотелось бы чтобы память о ней была светлой и доброй, как была она сама.
Мы планируем установить мемориальную скамейку и беседку в парке, на свежем воздухе, что бы близкие могли посидеть и вспомнить какой она была, а незнакомые - просто отдохнуть.
Оставшиеся деньги будут пожертвованы в Camp Hope for cancer patients in Northside Hospital.
Будем благодарны всем кто захочет помочь нам увековечить память о Наташе Рейзис.
