Help a kid have a meal today

Only a few things are better than coming home from work and opening a nice, cold, delicious beer. But lately I’ve been thinking about how lucky I am and how that money could probably go to something much better.

Tonight I’m having my last beer, cause from today I will be sober for a month to raise money for the kids from my city in Argentina to have a plate of food. The money I would have spent on grog will be donated to this GoFundMe too.

Around 2000 children who live in poverty attend to “comederos” every day where volunteers prepare meals for them from the community’s donations. Sometimes, this meal will be the only one these kids will have in the entire day.

As revealed by a report from the Institute for Social, Economic and Citizen Policy Research of Argentina, 46% of these children (almost fucking half!!!) suffer from malnutrition. If it weren't for these non-profit organizations, the kids would go days without food.

Due to the global pandemic, and the economic impact its having in a developing country like Argentina, donations are becoming less frequent. It’s our time to help.

I will raise money until 15/10 that will be sent directly by me to the organizer, Matias Maciel.

You would be surprised how far aussie dollars can go (especially when converted to argentine pesos). Even the smallest contribution can go so far.

Any collaboration will have a gigantic impact on the lives of these almost 2,000 children and adolescents and will be greatly appreciated by me.
