Ayúdanos a construir el refugio de EriSOS

{English below } El REFUGIO de EriSOS es un lugar en el que poder acoger a todos aquellos erizos que necesiten ayuda como huerfanitos que necesitan aprender a valerse por si solos en un entorno seguro, erizos demasiado débiles o pequeños para pasar el invierno en libertad que solo requieren de un lugar cálido con acceso a alimento durante la época de frío, ejemplares ya recuperados en los centros de recuperación de fauna que tienen que pasar un periodo de aclimatación antes de ser liberados o erizos irrecuperables que por alguna razón no pueden valerse por si solos pero pueden llevar una vida plena en un entorno seguro.
Tenemos la suerte de que la fundadora de la asociación cede sin ningún tipo de coste una zona de un terreno de su propiedad para poder construir el refugio con la seguridad que da saber que en ningún momento se depende de terceras personas que pueden echarnos fuera ni es necesario invertir un euro en gastos de hipoteca/alquiler inasumibles como pasa en tantas otros proyectos y refugios.
El terreno se ubica en la montaña, en la provincia de Tarragona, rodeado de bosques y campos repletos de fauna salvaje. Es un lugar tranquilo y de paz, alejado de carreteras y zonas urbanas, un lugar perfecto para la recuperación de estos pequeños.
# LAS OBRAS
Aunque nuestros ingresos son realmente bajos, hemos sido muy cuidadosos con cada donativo (gracias por vuestra ayuda!) y hemos podido ahorrar un poquito para empezar ya mismo con la primera fase de construcción.
Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es nivelar el terreno, ya que está en pendiente, y habilitar el acceso desde el camino principal.
Una vez el terreno esté nivelado podremos empezar a construir el recinto principal, con un vallado perimetral con malla de simple torsión reforzado en la parte inferior para evitar el acceso de pequeños animales (competencia por la comida o depredadores). También estará cerrado por la parte superior para evitar que otros animales puedan acceder desde el aire.
Este recinto estará dividido en diferentes espacios, pudiendo así albergar a varios erizos a la vez. Es importante remarcar que los erizos no pueden convivir juntos durante su estancia en el refugio, y aunque esto aumenta los costes y hace mas complicado su manejo es muy importante para nosotros hacerlo bien y evitar a toda costa el estrés que supondria para ellos estar encerrados con mas erizos en un espacio cerrado, puesto que aunque no es que sean animales territoriales si son solitarios e independientes, en una situación de cautividad como esta podria resultarles muy estresante convivir de forma forzada con otros erizos.

También necesitaremos un pequeño espacio cubierto a modo de almacén y pequeña enfermería para guardar todo el alimento y algunos materiales y medicamentos para hacer curas si fuera necesario. Una pequeña caseta de madera a modo de cobertizo sería suficiente y perfecta.
# LOS TIEMPOS
En Septiembre empezamos y nuestro objetivo es tenerlo acabado para Noviembre, de manera que podamos acoger a los primeros animales que lo necesiten este invierno y que puedan pasar la época de más frio a salvo con nosotros si lo necesitan.

Lo rápido que podamos hacerlo dependerá solo de la disponibilidad de fondos que tengamos, así que si estás pensando en ayudarnos ¡ahora es el momento!

The EriSOS Sanctuary is a place where we can welcome all those hedgehogs who need help such as orphans who need to learn to fend for themselves in a safe environment, hedgehogs too weak or small to spend the winter in freedom that only require a warm place with access to food during the cold season, specimens already recovered in the wildlife recovery hospitals that have to pass a period of acclimatization before being released or unrecoverable hedgehogs that for some reason cannot be used in case alone but can lead a full life in a safe environment.
We are fortunate that the founder of the association gives up free of charge an area of a piece of land that she owns to be able to build the shelter with the security of knowing that at no time is it dependent on third persons who can throw us out or are necessary to invest one euro in unaffordable mortgage / rent expenses as happens in so many other projects and sanctuaries.
The land is located in the mountains, in the province of Tarragona (Spain), surrounded by forests and fields full of wild fauna. It is a quiet and peaceful place, away from roads and urban areas, a perfect place for the recovery of these little ones.
# THE BUILD
Although our income is really low, we have been very careful with each donation (thanks for your help!) And we have been able to save a little bit to start the first phase of construction right away.
The first thing we have to do is level the terrain, since it is sloping, and enable access from the main road.
Once the ground is level, we can start to build the main enclosure, with a perimeter fence with a simple torsion mesh reinforced at the bottom to prevent access by small animals (competition for food or predators). It will also be closed at the top to prevent other animals from accessing it from the air.
This enclosure will be divided into different spaces, thus being able to house several hedgehogs at the same time. It is important to note that hedgehogs cannot live together during their stay in the refuge, and although this increases costs and makes their management more complicated, it is very important for us to do it well and avoid at all costs the stress that being locked up with them would entail for them. more hedgehogs in a closed space, since although they are not territorial animals if they are solitary and independent, in a captive situation like this it could be very stressful for them to coexist in a forced way with other hedgehogs.

We will also need a small covered space as a warehouse and a small infirmary to store all the food and some materials and medicines to make cures if necessary. A small wooden shed as a shed would be sufficient and perfect.
# THE TIMES
In September we start and our goal is to have it finished by November, so that we can welcome the first animals that need it this winter and that they can spend the coldest season safely with us if they need it.
