Erin's Trip to Vienna

I am a third-year undergraduate student majoring in music at the University of Rochester. I have the opportunity to attend a once in a lifetime musicology colloquium in Vienna, Austria. This is a highly selective program that combines classroom study with hands-on historical experience in Vienna. Additionally, I will be able to work beside professionals in the field and establish connections in the field of musicology that will serve me in my future career goals. The program takes place in the month of June 2018. The festival was nice enough to award me with a scholarship, making the cost of the program $3,300. This includes the courses, housing, and transportation around Vienna. I will need to also purchase my own airline tickets, which are an additional $1,000-$1,500.
