Hi! My name is Erin and I’m simply incapable of saying “No” when it comes to a dog in need.

That said, meet Jord…She is a sweeeet, suuuper loyal, strikingly beautiful girl whose owner fell on hard times and couldn’t keep her. All she wants to do is cuddle and be loved and right now she’s scared and confused but just Ohhhhh so SWEET and loving!!

My heart aches for her because she just wants to be a part of a family and snuggle all day but I can’t bring her in the house since my other dogs would not be hospitable.

I’m trying my hardest to find her a furever family but I think people are reluctant to give her a chance because she is in need of surgery for her “Cherry Eyes,” she is not yet spayed, and she needs updated vaccines.

I am not in a financial position where I can pay for this and I’m housing her in my garage and spending as much time comforting and loving her as I possibly can until I can find her a foster or a home because her owner had no options other than the shelter and we know what would likely happen to her there.

She is just a GEM, an old sweet soul in a 4-year-old, Bull-Mastiff-Mix dog suit. I’m hoping that if I can raise the money to get her eye surgery, get her spayed, and get her vaccinations up to date, an equally sweet soul in a human suit will recognize the gift of unconditional love and devotion she will offer them and give her a furever home.

This girl has beautiful, soulful, deeply expressive eyes and unfortunately I don’t think people can see past the “Cherry Eyes” to recognize her beauty and worth.

She keeps pawing me and looking at me like, “Please don’t give up on me.” So, yeah, I’m in a highly NOT ideal housing situation for her but I can’t give up on her so I’m asking for help because I really need it.
