Erin's Flood Damage

Friends and Family- I am asking for your help in the aftermath of one of the worst floods in our town's history.  I know the needs of many will be great, and I ask you to consider helping my sisters family as one of your own.  My brother in law was a teacher at Roosevelt and Pierre Moran and my sister has also served our community in education.  Their neighborhood was hit very badly and their house was not spared.  Unfortunately, her house was not in a designated flood plain so they do NOT have flood insurance.  Their house was for sale and under contract and supposed to close on Feb. 28th.  Now the house cannot be sold and needs a major flood restroration.  My husband has estimated expenses to exceed $20,000.  Their basement filled with over 5 ft of water.  The furnance has failed, the electrical panel was under water, the septic system also failed.  This is a worst case scenario.
