Erin's Fight

Erin Brodhead is the proud mother of three boys: Mason, Reid, and Fletcher (who is still in high school) and grandma to Sven, who just turned 1 in July. Erin enjoys camping, walking around barefoot or in flip flops until the snow flies, going on adventures, cooking, baking a good book, and most of all spending time with friends and family.

After falling ill in the fall of 2019, Erin was diagnosed in early May with stage IV colon cancer that had metastasized to the liver. This diagnosis just a little over a year after having a near-fatal brain aneurysm in November of 2018.

With your generous support, Erin will have a bit of the load lifted during her most difficult time.

Erin started chemotherapy in July after some setbacks with her health and insurance. Since starting chemo, Erin returned to work, where she is a vacation sales agent at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge, on a limited schedule between treatments until her health made it impossible to do so. At Ruttger’s, Erin handles all of the golf groups with which she has built relationships over her five years at the resort.
