Erin & Steve Hurricane Recovery

My sister Erin, her husband Steve and their 3 kids live in Port Aransas, TX where their home was recently hit by Hurricane Harvey. Aside from damage to their roof and exterior property, most of their home was by flooded by sea water and sewage. Just prior to this, they had gone through a very long and difficult remodel involving an unscrupulous contractor that drained them both emotionally and financially. This devastating event is even more heartbreaking because they had only recently moved back into their house to begin making it a home when the hurricane hit. The immediate costs are piling up and insurance deductibles are estimated to be in the $10,000 range. We are raising money to help pay their insurance deductibles and offset their out of pocket evacuation expenses (hotels, gas, food, personal items, etc.), as it will be a very long time before it is safe and sanitary enough for them to return home. They will be able to directly access the funds donated here as needed.

This family is oh so precious and I wish I could give them the world. They have been through SO much more than mentioned here in the last few years.
