Erin Crocker Family Recovery Fund

This go-fund-me account was created at the request of friends, family and co-workers of Erin Crocker. Erin recently suffered a medical crisis in which her autoimmune system attacked her nervous system causing a partial paralysis in her extremities...legs hips arms hands and also into her back and chest. No clear explanation as to why but it left her hospitalized for nearly a week on the neurological floor unable to do much of anything for herself with symptoms similar to a person who has had a stoke. Slowly she has made enough progress that she was released to go home although she needs constant help in order to get around and do stuff. She is able to walk very short distances with the aid of a walker and is able to shower with the use of a shower chair. She is currently unable to do much in the way of caring for Jedediah or household chores due to extreme weakness and limited mobility and stamina. She is undergoing both physical and occupational therapy to get back to a new normal. Unfortunately this has caused a major strain financially on their young family due to the loss of income and extra burden of medical bills and costs associated with care of someone trying to recover from a major medical crisis. We have no set goal other than to allow friends, family and co-workers to contribute to the family and help offset some of these day to day expenses. Everybody that has prayed and expressed concern for her wellbeing are truly a blessing and have helped her cope mentally with the challenges she will face. Time will tell how fast and complete her recovery will be but we have faith that all will be resolved in the end.
