Erin's Home Devastated by Fire

Hello Dear Family & Friends,
Late Friday afternoon on the 7th of September, Erin's home was devastated by a fire which started due a short in the wiring, we believe.
Erin's friends here in Nova Scotia have set up drop off centres for things like clothing and toiletries, and this is so kind, and our hearts are full of gratitude for these things. However, what is needed the most is getting Erin and her boys into her own place again as soon as possible. There was no insurance on the place, and now it is Erin's responsibility to make the property safe again, as she is liable for injuries caused there. We need to get the place torn down and hauled away so that eventually, she can place a new modular onto the existing pad.
The Red Cross has provided a hotel room for Erin and the boys until Monday. After that, she will be staying with me and the boys with their dad, who lives not too far from me, so at least everyone is close and handy to each other. Three in a bed here will work, too, or one of my long legged grandsons can sleep with me for as long as it takes, but we need to get them on their feet as soon as possible, and if you can help in any way, it will mean so much. They need a bit of 'normal' to look forward to at this time and if we can look ahead and make positive plans it will help them so, so much during this time of loss and grief.
