Erik’s road to recovery from a brain hemorrhage
Donation protected
On June 25th, my brother Erik suffered a seizure that with further medical discovery revealed a subarachnoid hemorrhage that ruptured a brain aneurysm. He underwent an 8 hour cranial surgery the following day where they placed 2 titanium rods over the aneurysm and a drain to pull the blood from his brain. After a 2 week stay at Albany Medical Center, Erik was discharged today but his battle to a full recovery is far from over. He will need to have at home care and is unable to return to work until he is fully recovered. This could be another 3-6 months.
Although his job has been amazing throughout this difficult time, he will not be receiving his full pay. His wife Katie will also need to take time off from work to bring him to follow up appointments and physical therapy. We are also unsure of what medical bill he has accrued during his ICU/hospital stay.
They have already suffered physical and emotional stress these last couple of weeks, I would love for this Go Fund Me to help remove any future financial hardship.
Any donation received will be given directly to the Lowell family to help with these last 2 weeks and any future endeavors to come.
I appreciate any and all of you willing to help my family. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing! Thank you!
