Erik's Fight Against Paralysis

Dear Friends and Family,

We are coming to you all for help. Erik DiCarlo, my brother, a father of two beautiful young children under the age of 10 . Was hospitalized on 2/10 and partially paralyzed from his waist down since 2/11. This past month has brought MANY tests and was a very scary and emotional roller coaster for us all . He has been diagnosed with a rare neurological condition

that has resulted in him being unable to walk or move his legs for now. He is a patient at Sharp Memorial Hospital, where a team of doctors, nurses, physical and occupational therapists are caring for him in the PICU unit.

He is unable to work at this time. He is an independent grant writer . His body is working hard towards recovery. As he gos through plasmapheresis treatments , OT and PT . We are aware it will be a long road ahead health wise and financially.

His Aunt Cathy and I are reaching out to our community of family and friends for any assistance both financially and spiritually.  Any monetary support of regardless of amount is greatly appreciated. Please help us spread the word for our dear family member Erik. If any have any experience to Share about rare neurological conditions and success stories we would love to hear them
