Erik Moulton is a Senior at Eastlake High School in Sammamish, Washington. This past weekend, his beloved mother, Michelle Moulton, passed away on September 10th, 2017 after a 14 year battle fighting complications due to liver and kidney failure. During those years, she endured doctor visits, long-term hospital stays, a liver transplant, and dialysis.
We can only imagine the physical and emotional toll that these health issues took on Michelle, Erik and their family over such a long period of time. In addition, during her last days, Michelle expressed a great desire to her husband Marian that Erik "finish High School and go to college." But How? Unfortunately, the financial ramifications were devastating for their family.
If you know the Moulton family, they are doers and go getters. They are not people who seek handouts from anyone. Before Michelle got sick, she was the PTA President at Erik's Elementary School (Samantha Smith), a board member for the Redmond Boys & Girls Club, and has been a devoted wife and mother to her family. Her husband coached numerous sports teams and sacrificed hours upon hours in the behalf of many young men in our Sammamish community as well.
On Sunday morning, September 10th, 2017 she passed away after enduring this long and difficult battle. She fought the good fight.
In the end we're hoping that our Sammamish community can come together in the Moulton's time of need. So many people always ask, "how can I help?" Well, to help fulfill Michelle's wish for Erik, we would ask that you would strongly consider making some sort of financial donation to the Erik Moulton College Fund. Together, let's help make Michelle's wish come true!
College is expensive, but how wonderful would it be if you could help make a HUGE difference in Erik's life and help send him to college with a scholarship from those near and far. The goal is $10,000. But ideally, the sky is the limit for this college fund! Thank you so very much for your kindness, consideration and generosity. The Moulton's will appreciate this beyond words!
