Lift up Eric Haley's Heart

I can't really begin to try and guess how Eric touched each of your lives. For some it may have been a traveling experience long ago in another life.
For others it may have been as you embarked on a new life with your new love as you trusted him to capture the perfect moments of that day as a photographer, friend, and artist.
It's possible that you know Eric because he caught you in just the right light as you crossed over from being a child into adulthood. Or when you won that pageant, or when you welcomed that new life into yours.
Regardless of how you know Eric, I'm sure I can speak for you when I can say it meant something. Something big. Eric is never just a dude you know. He becomes a beloved part of your life kind of quickly - one of those 10-15 people we all have that were there for us at our crossroads.
Unfortunately that big heart could only take so much and last Friday May 19, Eric suffered a massive heart attack. Three of his arteries were 95% blocked and down he went as he prepared to go to work at a wedding. His surgeons, powered by your prayers, steady hands and laser focus, were able to repair his arteries in a triple bypass operation that included opening Eric's chest and intermittently
stopping his heart so they could work on it properly.
As he recovers, he let me know that he will be out of work for over three months. The three biggest months of the year for a wedding photographer. His family is ok. They are on-the-floor thankful that they get their husband and daddy for a lot longer, but unfortunately, the financial burden of this experience will be difficult to bear.
Today I'm asking you to give to him. If Eric ever touched your heart as he's touched mine? If he ever made you laugh, cry, or yell with or at him? If he ever sang with you, or shared his dreams, or made fun of you? ? If you knew Lindy and how he, Andrea and the girls have dedicated their live's philanthropy efforts to giving money and time to the study of heart health?
Help him now.
I'm asking you to give until it hurts. That level is different for everyone, but friends, give to this man and his family until it hurts. If all you can give is an encouraging word or a heartfelt note, those help just as much.
