On Father's Day [06/18/2017], after months of dealing with serious back pains, and after being strongly adised by my fiancee and my mother, I finally went to the ER because the pain had become so unbearable. I was admitted to Barnes Jewish Hospital (St. Louis MO) that night and kept for further testing.
On June 19th, my 32nd birthday I was informed of an accumulation of cellular growth (cancer) in my neck, abdomen and a large mass under my liver. Further testing was needed and I was admitted to the Barnes Jewish - Center for Advanced Medicine Siteman Cancer Center on June 20th.
By July 6th, after being made comfortable(pain wise), having different tests and scans ran the Patheoligists were still unable to properly diagnose and pinpoint the source of the cancer.  Finally,  Dr. B Van Tine (Rare Cancer Specialist) , notified me and my family that the type of cells were categorized as Ewing's Sarcoma which is a rare disease where cancer cells are found in soft tissue. I finally received my first round of chemotherapy 17 days after being admitted to Siteman Cancer Center.  The chemo was very difficult and draining on my body, I lost a total of 40 pounds,  however after a week of recovery progress was evident and treatment was scheduled for every three weeks for the next six months. At my 1st follow-up appointment with Dr. Van Tine and his staff, he decided to add 2 more chemo medications and advised me I would NOT be doing any framing (Carpentry work) for a while and my new job would be keeping a diet of at least 2,500 calories per day due to the significant weight loss and the effects of the treatment on my body. Weight gain is a must in order to continue treatment.
I haven't been able to work (Carpenter Apprentice) since June 1, 2017 due to the pain at first, and now my treatment plan. Now that I am home the bills are still on their normal schedule, and soon medical bills will start to come in too. Fortunately, the  benefits of being a member of the Carpentry Union is a $2500 max out of pocket expense.
Since Day 1 the love and prayers have been my biggest request and has been so very important to my experience, many have asked about helping with financial responsibilites but until now I was unsure of what to expect or how long I would be in my current state. Any donations will help me with my monthly mortgage payments, utilities, food expenses, medical bills, and any other unknown future costs associated with my experence as a cancer patient. No amount is too small and everything will be greatly appreicated!

I thank you in advance and please continue to pray with me and my family during this time.
