Ericas Breast Cancer Fight

Hello!

My Wife and best friend was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Nov 22, 2017. There were two spots discovered on her right breast which has spread into her Lyph-nodes. Her Bioposy test came back poisitive for Invasive Mammary Carcinoma.

Prior to the diagnosis, Erica noticed something was wrong. The Family Doctor recommended a Ultrasound on October 30th 2017. This turned into a serious situation immediately. A Mammogram and Ultrasound was completed a week later. The Biopsy was completed on Nov 16th.

Erica started her aggressive Chemo-Therapy treatments on Dec 14th, 2017.  At Grand River Cancer Hospital along with many tests such as Bone Scans, MRI's, and CT-Scans, etc. We have multiple visits every week for check ups and further diagnosis as Doctors are unsure how many Lymph nodes are affected at this time. Erica was also diagnosed with a Blood-clot in her PICC line arm just after the beginning of 2018- she needs a shot of medication everyday.

Erica and I have two children Son 18months- Daughter- 7. Our 18 month old son requires outside care because she cannot care for him as should normally would.

Yes, our family is looking for help with costs associated with the diagnosis and to care for her and our family at home. We are extremly thankful and grateful for any and all support through this page.

Her fight will be a long one in 2018. After Chemo, there will be surgery and then radiation.

God bless to all and thank you for taking a moment to read Erica's story.
